Courtney M. Hart

Courtney Hart, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Her current research focuses on social networks, impression management, and the linguistic properties of prototypical versus non-prototypical leaders. She also serves as an Instructor for Negotiations and Conflict Resolution & Strategic Management at the University of Texas at Arlington.

She is previous the Secretary of the Management Doctoral Student Association - An arm of the PhD Project that brings together African American, Hispanic American, and Native American PhD Students. She is also the President of the UK Black Graduate and Professional Student Organization. Before pursuing her PhD, she received her BBA in Finance at Howard University, worked in marketing Google, and was the Chief Marketing Officer of Student Dream, a non-profit dedicated to incubating Black and Hispanic student entrepreneurs.

In her spare time, she loves to serve her community, travel to different countries (Pre-Covid), cook different cuisines, and learn about the economics of underserved populations.
